Smartphone users warned to delete these 17 apps that could see your money stolen

This could result in owners of the app having their sensitive data exploited, including financial information.
These kinds of apps are known as SpyLoan apps.
They have been well-known on Google’s Play Store, and Forbes also revealed that some can also be found on Apple’s App Store as well.
Lukas Stefanko, of the cybersecurity firm ESET, wrote on X: “Since the beginning of 2023, [our] researchers have observed an alarming growth of deceptive Android loan apps.”
He also warned how scam websites and third-party app stores are posing “as legitimate personal loan services, promising quick and easy access to funds.”
Once downloaded, the scammers can then “extract a wide range of personal information from unsuspecting users.”
